Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Verdmarket platform operated by Verdmarket SIA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Platform Description

Verdmarket is a B2B marketplace that connects florists and floral businesses ("Buyers") with wholesale flower and supply providers ("Suppliers"). We act as an intermediary platform and are not a party to the transactions between Buyers and Suppliers.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts
  • Business accounts require valid business registration information
  • Supplier accounts are subject to verification and approval

4. For Buyers

  • All prices are displayed in EUR excluding VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Orders are binding once confirmed through checkout
  • Payment must be made according to the selected payment method
  • Delivery times are estimates provided by suppliers
  • Product quality complaints must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

5. For Suppliers

  • Suppliers must maintain accurate product information and stock levels
  • Orders must be processed within the stated lead time
  • Verdmarket charges a commission (default 10%) on each completed order
  • Payouts are processed according to the agreed schedule
  • Product images and descriptions must accurately represent the products
  • Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass platform fees or conduct transactions outside the platform
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content
  • Interfere with the platform's operation or security

7. Intellectual Property

The Verdmarket platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Verdmarket SIA. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant us a license to display it on the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

Verdmarket acts as a marketplace facilitator. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by Suppliers, or for Suppliers' ability to fulfill orders. Our liability is limited to the commission fees collected.

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between Buyers and Suppliers, parties should first attempt to resolve the issue directly. Verdmarket may mediate at its discretion. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
